Amy Thuren

Amy Thuren is the Director of The Valley School, a charter middle school in Medford, Oregon.  Amy has spent the past 14 years working with nonprofit organizations in many different roles, developing a thorough understanding of their work on local, regional and national levels. Her strengths in community engagement, collaboration and team-building have led to many successful projects and outreach campaigns. She enjoys contributing to the betterment of her community in many ways.  Amy earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She lives with her family in the Rogue Valley and considers it the perfect place to enjoy lakes, mountains, trails and soak up all the natural beauty this corner of the world has to offer.
